  • Live Baiting - In deep sea fishing, live baiting involves using live fish or other sea creatures as bait, presenting a realistic and enticing target for predatory saltwater fish. This method is particularly effective in open ocean waters, where the natural movement and distress signals of the live bait attract larger fish species .

  • Deep dropping - Deep dropping in deep sea fishing refers to a technique where baited lines are dropped to extreme depths, often several hundred feet, targeting fish species that dwell in the deep ocean layers. This method typically uses electric reels to handle the significant depths.
