Discover the pristine beauty of Cayos Cochinos with Dos Locos Charters, located just south of Roatan. This serene archipelago, part of the Roatán municipality, includes two main islands and a collection of smaller coral cays, nestled in a protected marine area. As you explore this segment of the world's second largest coral reef system, the Meso-American Barrier Reef, you'll be immersed in an underwater world teeming with vibrant marine life. Here's What You Can Expect on This Excursion:
We depart at 7 am for a fun trip from Roatan to the beautiful Cayos Cochinos Islands, just 26 miles south. On the way, you can choose to fish a bit or head straight to Cayos. Once we're there and have our marine park passes, we'll visit a small island where you can snorkel and swim freely.
For lunch, we'll stop at Chachauate. You'll get to enjoy a tasty meal of lobster, snapper, or chicken, and we'll also show you around the local fishing village. After lunch, we'll snorkel at a reef on the north side, where you're likely to see big sea turtles and spotted eagle rays, along with lots of different fish.
We'll start heading back to Roatan around 3 pm and plan to be back at the dock by 4 pm. Don't worry about snorkel gear or floats; we have them if you need them. Our boat comes with drinks, fresh fruit, snack bars, and we can whip up some ceviche if we end up fishing. We’ve got local beer and rum punch, and we can get other specific drinks, snacks, or alcohol if you ask. Come and spend a great day with us exploring Cayos Cochinos!

Dos Locos Charters - Deposit and refund policy
Deposit Requirement: Please note that all trips require a 50% deposit to secure your reservation. This deposit is crucial in guaranteeing that your desired date is exclusively blocked off for your party. Our booking policy operates on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the deposit is a key part in this process.
Refund Policy: Deposits are fully refundable up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date of your trip. This policy is in place to provide you with the flexibility should your plans change. However, within 7 days of your trip, the deposit becomes non-refundable. This is due to the logistical and planning commitments made in anticipation of your trip.
Weather-Related Cancellations: In the event that the captain cancels the trip due to adverse weather conditions, and it is not possible to reschedule during your stay, your deposit will be fully refunded. We prioritize the safety and enjoyment of our guests, and weather conditions are closely monitored to make the best decision regarding your trip.
